Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Duke Kunshan University (DKU) located in China. I also have an affiliate appointment as an Assistant Professor of the Practice of Global Studies at Duke University. Before joining DKU, I was an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Rice University.

My research and teaching interests include comparative political behavior, public opinion, media and politics, and quantitative methodologies. A list of my published works can be found on my research page and my teaching page provides a list of courses I am currently teaching and previously taught.
